Course Objectives

To help a student understand preaching, teaching, and communicating God’s Word and how it becomes an outflow of one’s personality [their own “voice”] and life lived for Christ.
To provide the means by which a student can identify the structural components to effectively communicate God’s Word.
To provide an understanding of the power of and why of storytelling and illustrations as the “Jesus way.” They serve as windows to communicating and understanding biblical truth.
To raise awareness of the problems one can face in preaching.

Course Requirements
There will be six 20-25 minute sessions with accompanying reading and homework assignments to be turned in upon completion.
